Zehntner ZUA 2000 Universal Applicator
Adjustable gap applicator for application of uniform or wedge shaped films, for many coating materials on flat substrates. Adjustable from 0-3000µm.
These adjustable applicators are available in a range of standard film widths from 60mm to 220mm and can also be made in bespoke widths to your specification.
Can be used to deposit wedge shaped films.
Please note that he wet film thickness is not equal to the gap height – the following table gives an approximate guide to the relationship.

For the choice of the correct gap height please also consider that the dry film thickness obtained is less than the wet film thickness, due to solvent evaporation.
